I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was fantastic right in the center of Rembrandtplein, making it easy to explore Amsterdam, but the room was a bit disappointing with a not so clean feel and a small, uncomfortable bed. The service was friendly overall, but there were some lapses in providing information about the hotel and the city. The dining options were basic and not great value for money, but the convenience of having breakfast on-site was a plus.

Rooms

The room was clean 'enough' for us, but felt a bit unclean likely due to the age of the building and had a dusty/tobacco smell. The tiny single bed and sloping mattress were not very comfortable.
Service
7.0
The staff was nice and friendly, although not very competent in providing information about the hotel and the city.
Location
8.0
The best thing about this hotel is its central location in Rembrandtplein, with easy access to explore Amsterdam on foot. However, being next to a nightclub with noise until 4am could be bothersome for light sleepers.
Dining

The dining experience was basic, with breakfast priced at 10 €, which wasn't the best value for money, but having the convenience of breakfast inside the hotel was a plus.

The hotel is situated in a central location, making it quick to access the sights we wanted to see. The rooms, while smaller than expected from the images, were clean and tidy. The service we received from the staff was warm and welcoming, ensuring our personal requests were met. The dining experience was not worth the price paid. However, for what we paid, the hotel offered simple amenities to experience all Amsterdam has to offer.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms, although smaller than pictured, were clean and tidy. I could hear noises from other areas, but it wasn't too bothersome when I was out and about. It would have been better if the bed was made upon our late arrival, especially with the room's proximity to the bathroom causing disturbances.
Service

The staff were kind and helpful, ensuring we felt welcome upon arrival.
Location

The hotel's location was excellent, just a short walk from many attractions and the bustling Rembrandt Square. Despite some issues, it provided a good base to explore Amsterdam.
Dining

The dining experience was disappointing considering the price paid. The food presentation was subpar, served in small cereal bowls rather than heated buffet trays.
Facilities

Basic amenities were available, allowing us to access the vibrant Rembrandtsplein and enjoy what Amsterdam has to offer.

The hotel rooms are smaller than shown in the images and basic, lacking air conditioning and with noticeable noise from ventilation, but they were still nice and warm. The service offered a great view over Rembrandt Square and was amazing, though a bit insistent on housekeeping. The location was very good, situated right in the heart of the city but slightly far from the train station. The dining experience was not worth the 11 euros per person, and the facilities were overall satisfactory.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless, had free Wi-Fi, and were nicely decorated with balloons for my boyfriend's 21st birthday at no extra cost. The location was perfect for tourists, being very close to the city center. However, the steep staircases to access the rooms were a bit challenging, and some areas were small and dirty.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of Rembrandt Square close to everything. The rooms, while a bit dated, offered a powerful shower and plenty of space. The service was mostly amazing, with very kind and helpful staff, though there were moments of staff issues. The dining experience was better than expected and good value, especially in the Irish pub. The location balanced out any negatives, being wonderfully situated with easy access to everything.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was excellent, right in the center of Rembrandt Square, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and shops. However, the room I stayed in was rather small with a noisy bar outside, affecting my sleep quality. The friendly staff and the vibrant area made up for some of the room's shortcomings.

Rooms

My room was quite small with a tiny single bed, and the mattress was not the most comfortable. Despite being clean, the noise from the bar outside and surrounding area was disruptive.

The dining experience was average, and the additional cost for some items might not be worth it. The location close to restaurants was a more appealing option for meals.
Facilities

The hotel location is ideal, right in the heart of the city overlooking a lively square hosting an art fair on Sundays. The rooms, though clean and nice, seemed to have been decorated in the 70s/80s. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. However, the dining was a bit overpriced for what was offered.
